Derek Eddy represents clients in real estate and commercial litigation matters. He has more than 10 years of experience litigating cases in such areas as construction, surety, insurance, commercial, and personal injury. In construction litigation, he has acted as counsel for owners, contractors and construction managers in disputes involving bid protests, product and material deficiencies, design errors, specification disputes and critical-path scheduling.
Mr. Eddy is a contributing co-author of the Pennsylvania chapter of A State-By-State Guide to Construction & Design Law, published by the American Bar Association. Subjects covered include surveys of Pennsylvania statutory and case law governing the construction process, building codes, regulations, relevant executive orders, and requirements specific to public projects.
