Jolie Kahn practices in the areas of securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, reverse mergers and general corporate, banking and real estate matters. She regularly represents both public and private companies, and hedge funds and other institutional investors in their role as investors in public companies. As outside counsel handling compliance issues for public companies, Ms. Kahn prepares and files the full gamut of Securities Act and Securities Exchange Act filings. She also works with companies and hedge funds in complex transactions involving the structuring and negotiation of multi-million dollar debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Kahn’s practice is rounded out by corporate governance and intellectual property matters.
In addition, Ms. Kahn is a lecturer in securities law, most recently for the New York County Lawyers Association regarding recent proposed changes to the federal securities laws affecting smaller public companies.
